- Issuer-reported Form D industry category.

- As-filed state or country code; not always a US state.

How it was put together
- Use corporate issuers in Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, Other Health Care, and Hospitals and Physicians.
- Retain the largest reported TOTALAMOUNTSOLD for a given CIK and initial sale date, then aggregate by CIK. One offering amount was capped at $10 billion.
- Rename the original funding/round fields to describe reported amounts and retained records accurately. The public CSV omits contacts and addresses; no patent or fuzzy-match tables are included.
What to keep in mind
- Quarterly source coverage is 2012 Q1 plus 2014 Q1–2024 Q4. It excludes the rest of 2012 and all 2013; it is not a complete lifetime funding history.
- Amounts are issuer-reported and transformed as documented. Distinct offerings on the same sale date may be collapsed; amendments and blank dates can affect totals.
- Recorded initial sale years range from 2000 to 2024. 18 summaries have no first/last sale year. Sale dates can predate filing dates.
- retained_offering_records is not the number of actual rounds. reported_state_or_country_code may be a country code; a name is not a unique issuer identifier.
